It was in the right place.

I have no idea where any good reviews of this establishment came from. . . I can't even call it that. It should have been called "Hut 6". Maybe you have the wrong address. It was easily the WORST experience we have ever had away from home. First off, the neighborhood is totally dangerous and patchy. Prostitutes and homeless men litter the property and surrounding businesses. You can smell the grass even before you reach the driveway. The office staff were curt at best and didn't apologize after I voiced my concerns. Upon entering our room the smell was a combination of smoke and musty socks. We had to leave the door open for ventilation. The beds were hard, the sheets were like burlap. Various mobs ran up and down the balcony, swearing, smoking and generally being obnoxious. We were finally able to close the door and try to settle in for the night around midnight, but even after we got past the mysterious bathroom stains and low-pressure shower, there was a lot of noise and smoking continued in this supposedly non-smoking place. Motel. It got to the point where I had to call the police...the cigarette and marijuana smoke was so heavy in our room it was like the person was at the foot of the bed. A phone call to reception was not helpful as a "George" who answered did not apologize as mentioned above and advised me to call the police. The police were NOT helpful and just asked the guys to smoke outside. not you. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!

This Motel 6 was absolutely awful. Worst motel I have ever stayed in in my entire life. I asked for a non-smoking room and the room smelled like cigarette smoke. The smell in the bathroom was so strong that I couldn't stand there to pee without coughing from the smell. The bathtub was covered in ugly brown stains all over. Floors were generally dirty and the square of carpet in the entryway had a large white spot/stain that looked like it had never been cleaned when it first spilled. I couldn't sleep on the sheets because the sheets were covered with small hairs and dander like they hadn't been washed by the last person. I lay down on the covers to sleep (the only reason I didn't go was because I was exhausted and had driven ten hours to the Nashville area and arrived at the Motel 6 around 11pm) and woke up with a red rash along with it Stains on the back (when wearing long sleeves and pants).

Evil and full of addicts! Go away!

We weren't expecting anything special and the staff who served us was very nice. We only stayed one night on our way home from Florida. It was late when we checked in and options are very limited. The room cleaning was pretty bad. I used my own disinfecting wipes to clean as many surfaces as possible. There were dirty fingerprints on the light switches, the toilet seat was cracked and slid off the toilet, there was a lot of hair under the seat, there was dried urine on the front of the toilet, the sheets and blankets were covered in holes with burns (multiple each) and the air conditioner was covered in dust and mold. Again, I wasn't expecting anything special or new, but I expected a clean toilet and no burn marks on the sheets. The location of this hotel was convenient and close to Essen and the freeway. We didn't feel unsafe in the complex.

Dirty

I needed a place to stay for the night to meet up with some friends and repatriate some dogs that had died in the hurricane. Yes pet friendly but room very very worn not very clean no towels one bath towel stained. The mattress had something wrong with the box springs, part of it not supported. The air conditioner barely worked, the door had a huge gap.. Not worth the $108 rate, more like a $39.99 rate.
