I have no idea where any good reviews for this property come from. . . I can't even call it that. It should have been called "Cabin 6". Maybe they got the address wrong. It was just the absolute worst experience we've ever had away from home. First, the neighborhood is downright dangerous and ragged. Prostitutes and vagrants litter the property and surrounding businesses. You can smell the grass even before you enter the driveway. The office staff were brusque at best and unapologetic after I voiced my concerns. Upon entering our room, the smell was a combination of smoke and moldy socks. We had to leave the door open for ventilation. Beds were hard, sheets were like tow. Several mobs were milling around on the porch, cursing, smoking, and generally being obnoxious. We finally managed to close the door and try to settle in for the night around midnight, but even after we got past the mysterious bathroom stains and low-pressure shower, there was a lot of noise and smoke in this supposedly non-smoking motel. It got to the point where I had to call the police... the cigarette and marijuana smoke was so strong in our room it was like the person was lying at the foot of the bed. A phone call to reception was of no help as a 'George' who answered, as mentioned earlier, was unapologetic and advised me to call the police. The police were NOT helpful and just asked the boys to smoke outside. They do not have. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!

This Motel 6 was absolutely awful. Worst motel I've ever stayed at in my entire life. I asked for a non-smoking room and the room reeked of cigarette smoke. The smell in the bathroom was so bad I couldn't stand there to pee without coughing from the smell. The bathtub had nasty brown stains all over it. The floors were generally dirty and the carpet in the entryway had a huge white stain/stain that looked like it had never been cleaned when it first spilled. I couldn't sleep on the bed sheets because the sheets were covered in fluff and fluff like they hadn't been washed by the last person. I lay down on the covers to go to sleep (only I didn't go because I was exhausted and had driven ten hours to get to the Nashville area and got to the Motel 6 around 11:00 PM) and woke up with a red spot rash on my back (while wearing long sleeves and pants).

Mean and full of junkies! Stay away!!!

We weren't expecting anything special and the staff that checked us in were very friendly. We only stayed one night on our way home from Florida. It was late when we checked in and we had very limited options. Room cleaning was very bad. I used my own disinfectant wipes to clean every surface I could. There were dirty fingerprints on the light switches, the toilet seat was broken and slipped off the toilet, there was a lot of hair under the seat, there was dried urine on the front of the toilet, the sheets and blankets were covered in burnt holes ( several of each), and the air conditioner was covered in dust and mold. Again, I wasn't expecting anything special or new, but I did expect a clean bathroom with no holes in the sheets. The location of this hotel was convenient and close to Essen and the Autobahn. We didn't feel unsafe in the complex.

Dirty

I needed a place to spend the night just to meet some friends and transport some dogs that were victims of the hurricane. Yes pet friendly but very very worn rooms not particularly clean no towels one bath towel stained. The mattress had something wrong with the springs, part of it unsupported. The air conditioning barely worked, the door had a huge gap. Not a $108 value, more like a $39.99 price.
